United South Panthers Baseball Updates

With their great defense turning double plays to end innings and the hot box at third with key hard-hit ground balls to get runners out at first base, the Panthers are living up to their #7 ranking and using it to motivate their play.
The Panthers arrived at the SAC Baseball field with determination. Sources tell us that when they got to the school and locker room this afternoon, they saw signs everywhere in the athletic dressing rooms showing that one ranking group in Laredo had them ranked second, below the team they were facing today.
When they knew they were ranked in the state in different groups across Texas. Speaking with players, they said it motivated them to come in and take care of business and to showcase why they are now 18-1.

"The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword." Why they were locally ranked not #1 is unclear, but it was used to argue that the 17 wins and 1 loss were no fluke. Now that they are 18-1, they left knowing they took care of business when it counted and played winning little ball when it was needed. The next game is against the district foe on Thursday, and their second top pitcher is set to take the mound. IT is what it IS. Thursday, both teams have to do it again and see who comes out ahead. After all, it is playing with the little ball with the red stitches that makes it interesting who wins.
