Sergio Javi Martinez (Junior), Laredo Martin Tigers, became a regional champion at yesterday's THSPA 1st-ever unequipped powerlifting regional competition.
They don’t use any equipment to boost their lifts. Sergio is the lone LISD state qualifier. He won 1st place in the super heavyweight division and was named the best lifter in benching for the entire Competition. Sergio excels academically as well.
He is a junior at Martin’s High Buckley Early College and was a 2nd team offensive lineman this past season for the Tigers Football Program. ONCE A TIGER ALWAYS A TIGER, this TIGER has reached STATE.
