We got a chance to see him play Friday night in Laredo, Texas, in a scrimmage for the United Longhorns, and he was impressive with his power hitting and speed on the bases. He hit a pop-up to first base, but those who follow baseball will understand what I am about to say: that pop-up was a MAJOR LEAGUE pop-up. A bit higher, and it would have hit the Space Station in orbit.
We will monitor his season and follow him this coming weekend at the 2026 Border Olympics Baseball Showcase in Laredo, Texas.
